Visit to St. John

We went to St. Thomas and though we found the island beautiful, we felt it was more suitable for people getting off cruise ships looking to spend money on jewelry and souvenirs.

Once we skipped over to St. John (population under 5k) the entire energy of our trip changed. St. John has a true Caribbean vibe, with eco-conscious people and pristine beaches. 

When we realized we had no intentions of leaving, we booked a hotel (last minute) and spent the remainder of our vacation on St. John, US Virgin Islands. Didn't need to spend a lot of money on a hotel. Truth is, I tried to but boo wouldn't allow it. 😂

Ended up in a quaint hotel in Cruz Bay. Most of our time was spent hiking, visiting amazing beaches, eating at caribbean restaurants, sipping cocktails and laughing. 

We visited St. Thomas, but fell in love with St. John.
